Can I get an online HVAC estimate without a home visit?

Yes. Pick furnace + AC, furnace only or AC only, your above-ground square footage and the equipment you want, and the online HVAC estimate shows the installed price for the exact Goodman models sized for that home. A free in-home visit confirms the size and the price in writing before any work.

How much does a new furnace and AC cost?

A complete furnace and AC system runs $10,000–$17,000 installed at FortHouse Heating & Cooling. With the standard Goodman systems in this online estimate, a furnace and AC together are $10,000–$15,850, a furnace only $5,000–$7,100 and an AC only $5,800–$9,950, depending on home size and efficiency. The top of the full range is modulating and communicating equipment, which is quoted one system at a time.

Is this an HVAC cost calculator?

It works like one, with one difference: instead of a national average, it gives FortHouse's own installed price for the Goodman furnace, air conditioner and coil sized for your home. Labor, materials, permit and removal of the old equipment are in the number.

Is the in-home estimate free?

Yes. The in-home estimate for a new AC, furnace or heat pump is free, and the price is given in writing before any work starts.

Will the price change after the in-home visit?

The online price is for the system FortHouse would size for your square footage. The visit checks what a floor plan can't show, such as duct sizes, venting and electrical. If anything changes the price, you get the new number in writing before work starts.

Can I get a price on variable-speed or modulating equipment?

Yes. Modulating furnaces, variable-speed air conditioners and communicating systems need a matched coil and thermostat, so FortHouse quotes them one at a time. Send a note through the contact form or email and you get a written price.

Does the estimate include duct work?

Duct work, when a home needs it, is quoted separately and added to the installed price; it is not part of these ranges.

What does a tune-up or repair cost?

A furnace or AC tune-up is $119. Most furnace and AC repairs run $150–$600, quoted in writing before any work, and the diagnostic visit is $119 in regular hours.
